Job Description

Job Summary 

Responsible for assisting with overseeing all security officers and ensuring adequate security procedures are in place and adhered to. Ensure security standards are maintained throughout the company. Develop and implement ideas to improve overall security and current safety standards to ensure that all work environments are secure and safe at all times. Assist with training and coaching of officers to ensure optimal compliance of all policies and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with safe and successful daily armored truck transport
  • Assist when needed with opening and closing of stores according to schedules
  • Spot check security offices at branches to ensure they are following all protocols
  • Monitor camera surveillance for inappropriate activity and report and deal with same when needed
  • Implement new processes and procedures when needed
  • Inspect and review equipment and facility conditions to ensure optimal efficiency of items such as: alarms, fire safety equipment, etc.
  • Patrol on foot and by vehicle, branches and grounds to review the performance of officers.
  • Assist with scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage at all times
  • Verify that all store security alarms are armed and signal is tested
  • Provide all required reports as needed
  • Assist with developing evacuation plans, weather emergencies, traffic control, in-house training, etc.
  • Adhere to all Company policies regarding reporting to and leaving work timely
  • Work with Director to develop innovative ways to improve security coverage at all locations and devising required policies and training regarding same
  • Build moral and promote a healthy work environment and rewards and recognizes staff
  • Execute disciplinary actions when required, according to Company standards and labor laws

Experience/Skills Required

  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experiences are a plus.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivated and must be vigilant
  • Always operate with the highest levels of honesty, integrity and fidelity, acting in the best interest of the business at all times.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including holidays
